Welcome to the IAP Institute for Applied Psychology, the leading consulting and training institute for applied psychology in Switzerland. Since 1923 the IAP is the university institute of the School of Applied Psychology of the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. The IAP has been developing specific science-based solutions for challenges that have occurred in the practice of psychology.

The further education courses we offer benefit from mutual interaction with the IAP's consulting services as well as our proximity to the teaching and research carried out at the University of Applied Sciences. The course contents are based on scientific know-how and have been tried and tested in practice. Participants in our courses are trained to be efficient practitioners, both in their professional and personal lives. The IAP offers a stimulating learning environment: the individual attention given to students by the lecturers and team spirit in the learning groups are typical of the atmosphere at the IAP. The teaching concept has been developed to impart specialist, methodological, social and personal skills. We offer further education courses for psychologists and specialists and managers working for private business enterprises, public organisations and social institutions. We also develop special in-house further education programmes for companies. Our very experienced lecturers also provide consulting services at the IAP and guarantee a high level of quality.
