Psychosocial Development and the Media
This research area looks at issues such as development, socialisation, upbringing and schooling from a psychological viewpoint. Development is observed over the entire lifespan. Consulting services and psychosocial intervention in the fields of upbringing and education are evaluated. Projects focusing on the use and effectiveness of the media also belong to this research category. Psychosocial daily life in the media society and the significant opportunities and risks within this environment are researched.
