Basics of applied psychology: general and differential psychology, development and personality, social psychology, schools of psychological thought, history of psychology
Clinical psychology: neuropsychology, psychophysiology, psychopathology, psychosomatics, specific disorders (e.g. schizophrenia, depression, borderline, Alzheimer's disease)
Psychodiagnosis: metric and projective testing, test construction and interpretation, writing psychology, Rorschach diagnostics, psychological reports, casuistry
Counselling: basics of communication, interview techniques, working with groups, guidance architecture and concepts, intervention methods and impact analysis, public relations
Applied psychology and its contexts: ethics, gender issues, theory of management and economics, industrial and organisational psychology, sociology, educational systems
Research: introduction, statistics, qualitative social research, technical English, new media, seminar and Bachelor theses on a topic selected by the student
Elective subjects: events planned by the students or the head of the department in reaction to recent developments or to increase in-depth knowledge

Industrial and organisational psychology: basics of industrial and organisational psychology, strategic HRM, personnel assessment and development, management, etc.
Developmental and personality psychology: lifespan development, educational and life guidance, personality diagnostics and its application to support the individual's development and promotion.
Clinical psychology: psychological disorders, therapeutic approaches, clinical procedures, evaluation research and quality assurance in clinical psychology, effectiveness studies, etc.
The focus of the Bachelor degree falls on the basic subjects. The Master degree focuses on the specialisation subjects.
